This pre-wedding shoot in Seville was all about movement, spontaneity, and documenting the city before the big day. The wedding took place a month later and was planned by the ever-stylish Dyana Dessar who is arguably Europe’s best known planner of Asian Weddings, The session flowed more like a mini adventure than a formal photoshoot.

Think early spring light in March, electric mopeds, bar hopping, and golden-hour architecture. It was editorial in feel, energetic in pace, and very Seville.

Casa de Pilatos: Stone, Shadows, and Cinematic Angles

We started at Casa de Pilatos, an iconic Sevillian palace that’s all Moorish tiles, soft light, and perfect symmetry. The couple’s styling played against the rich textures and clean architectural lines: modern, minimal, and elegant with just enough edge.

This wasn’t about standing still. We moved fast, using reflections, shadowplay, and layered compositions to keep the feel editorial and fluid. A location like this does the heavy lifting—it just needs the right energy in front of the lens.

Bar Hopping and an Electric Moped Through the Backstreets

From the palace, we ducked into Seville’s lesser-known side streets for tapas, vermouth, and a break from the expected. These unplanned pauses always bring the best frames—glimpses of real chemistry between the structure of the shots.

Whether it was laughter over olives or a blurred shot across a wine glass, this part of the shoot leaned more into lifestyle.

The couple jumped on an electric moped with that unmistakable Seville colour palette in the background to give us some of the most unexpected frames of the day.

There's a fine line between planned and improvised—this session balanced both.

Plaza de España After Dark

We wrapped at Plaza de España, long after sunset. The crowds had cleared, the fountains were lit, and the architecture took on a more dramatic tone. Nighttime in Seville has its own rhythm—quieter, cooler, atmospheric.

Shooting at night lets us play with light differently. We worked with ambient glow, sharp shadows, and deep tones to close the session in a way that felt editorial and cinematic—more fashion campaign than traditional pre-wedding portrait.
